I'm tired just looking at the map...

Let's go back to the beginning, when we started with our ten feet of crazy map that gave its name to this blog. For some more perspective on just how far Shawn has come, take a look at this... and then read on to see what he's been up to lately!! His estimated end date (as of this morning, pre-rainy-day off in Gorham) is October 4th.

Two words...I'm jealous! I only wish I could do and experience 1/4 of what he's doing!

Oh...Shawn...a much different experience of the White Mountains than the day trip of walking the Flume and then going to see the Old Man in the Mountain?? :)

Shawn.......You are really on the home stretch of the AT. Getting through the Whites is quite an accomplishment in itself. As I understand it from talking to Steve, (who hiked the AT), in Maine there is a stretch of around 100 miles where you will not see a town or civilization.

You are in my prayers-keep up the great work! CLIMB ON!

Love,
Dad
